WHY ISN'T AMERICA TUNING INTO MESSI? The 1st #InterMiamiCF game of '24 shown exclusively on TV delivered disappointing viewership. Only 137,000 watched the exciting game last week on FS2 & 101,000 on TUDN. Second leg is tonight on FS2 at 8:15 PM ET.

We were all watching LFC vs. City because we like to watch quality football.

Because most of us who watch soccer already have a team we root for, and rather than suddenly caring about a bad club because they signed a big name, we’re resentful that we want to hear about the teams we’ve supported for decades and all MLS feeds us is Messi League Soccer.

This game was pretty good. But really it's because the game was on FS2. Who the hell has access to that? I only did because my stepdad gave me his info.

I didn’t realize that there were 137,000 homes with FS2 in them. It’s still in SD 4:3 format on Comcast here. (Which I’m 100% dropping when my contract is up in August.)

FS2 is in 52 million American homes, more than the number of households with the NFL Network.

I think it’s partially because the tv schedule for mls games is confusing. All regular season games are on Apple TV so even die hard football fans don’t know these games are on cable
