hidden mmr has ruined competitive games

so what's the point of a visible "rank" if that's not your real level? it's literally nonsense

So the plat player has to suffer ascendant lobbies to get to ascendant makes sense

1. I’m bronze and I played against someone who peak plat last season. 2. I lose badly and now I played against someone who iron 2. 3. I win and I’m match MVP, now I played against silver-gold. 4. Repeat step 2-4. Infinite loop

yea this is just not how it should be. not a single person enjoys or agrees with the current ranked system. fix it.

Bro, at this point just let Silvers play against other Silvers until they naturally move up to Gold. What’s the problem? If their real skill is high, they’ll climb anyway. But why force innocent players to face high ranks when they’re not ready?

the problem is not the elo disparity, is the lack of reward for winning a lobby like this, or lack of protection for losing a lobby like this. No reward for harder games feels super bad

What is this highlight supposed to prove when the gold player def cant he 3 stacked with the ascendants or even the diamond on their team, nor can the asc q with the plat player. The only combo here could be asc adc dia + plat gold. Does that seriously sound fair riot?

So that makes me curious as to the fact of if my MMR makes me compete with Diamonds and higher, why does my visible rank reflect Gold? Why not allow me to gain WAY more off of my wins and lose less from my losses if it believes my skill level is higher than shown?

so thats why if i win against higher elo i tend to get cucked in multiple higher elo lobbies while not gaining RR in response to the higher difficulty
