It seems these tridactyl mummies from Peru are likely a hoax. Joe recently had on Raul Bilecky, who provided an explanation of why the mummies are fake (somewhere in the first hour of episode 2449, can't remember the exact minutes). Apparently some scumbags put them together using bones from multiple terrestrial creatures, including human. Pretty disappointing, but unsurprising.
