Please can you make a video on looking at Reform 'policies' to highlight how their opportunist simple fix ideology won't provide the solutions to the problems their target audience seem to believe are so achievable

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐥? Cornel West’s breakup with the Green Party doomed the left's third party effort. What mistakes were made, what can we learn and where do we go from here? ★ NEW ARTICLE ⬇️

The old dream of upward mobility, getting a degree, a good job, buying a house etc, has turned into the realisation that unless you inherit money the odds are really stacked against you being able to get ahead. This is why people are so frustrated.

Should we get behind the Green Party then as they have a wealth tax in their manifesto?

@garyseconomics Obviously!

Labour can not be described as centre left they are more centre right

They’ll both fail because they are not able to address the fundamental issue. The money printing. The broken monetary system. The war machine.

Every line a smash hit; i’d love to do an addendum how this connects to climate & environment. The increasing inequality is also compounding the destruction of the natural world as the richest have the highest carbon footprints and don’t care for the living spaces of the poor.

i don’t believe your forecast for USA because a) we are in the midst of an industrial revolution (AI/robotics) that’s going to create enormous new wealth/value b) Americans are much richer than the British. “the rich” (by our standards) are a massive fraction of the population. Trump’s last round of tax cuts did benefit most of the taxpayers. c) plenty of scope for eliminating policies that are being abused (eg H1b visas, asylum seekers in hotels, sanctuary cities, asymmetric trade barriers, federal grants to dubious NGOs, corrupt/wasteful government contracts) which will please the electorate and reduce the deficit, therefore leaving room to continue immigration policy that is actually helpful
