Why Las Vegas Locals Hate The Strip

Former LV Local & I come back to visit once/year. You are 100% correct. I hated all those things and avoided The Strip for all those reasons except parking/valet was free back in my day. I usually stay DT and take my buddies off strip all the time. They love that. RIP TX/Fiesta.

Good stuff as always. Same can be said here in Nashville. We locals never go downtown for all of these reasons (except gambling of course).

True dat! I even won't go to the trip to visit fam or friends. The traffic and prices are outrageous.
