Seems to me that 'herd (flock) immunity' is a thing. Humans have survived through millennia that way. Let those uninfected/surviving animals live. They're immune. Destroying them promotes future, more devastating infection. Culling healthy animals is sheer madness.

I’m probably just too dumb to understand, but why is mass culling even a thing? I’m fairly certain no disease is 100% lethal, so if we just let it run its course then wouldn’t we just end up with only the poultry that is resistant or resilient enough to not succumb? By mass culling, aren’t we artificially removing the natural selection pressure and thus not allowing the herd to develop a natural immunity to the disease?

American experts say ostriches don’t spread bird flu — so why is Ottawa preparing to kill 400 of them? While U.S. scientists and agricultural experts call for reforming outdated bird flu policies, the Canadian government is preparing to destroy 400 healthy ostriches at a small farm in Edgewood, British Columbia, even though the animals have recovered from avian flu and pose virtually no transmission risk. When contacted by Rebel News, the American Ostrich Association confirmed it is aware of the situation in Edgewood and that American lawmakers have been encouraged to raise the issue with Congress and the USDA. The AOA reiterated that ostriches and other ratites have an extremely low transmission potential and should not be subjected to the same depopulation protocols as domestic poultry. Despite that scientific evidence, the CFIA remains unmoved. The agency continues to prepare for a full depopulation at Universal Ostrich Farm, where pens and containment areas have already been constructed in anticipation of government-ordered extermination. The owners have appealed to the Supreme Court of Canada, seeking a stay that would prevent the CFIA from killing the birds while their case is heard. If leave to appeal is denied, the cull could begin within hours. The 400 ostriches in question aren’t raised for meat. They’re part of a research program studying antibody development and immune response, including parallels with COVID-19. Destroying them, researchers warn, would erase years of data and undermine ongoing biomedical work. O'Connell confirmed that the bird flu shot is "based on the same mRNA-technology" used in Pfizer’s and Moderna’s covid jab" and that an mRNA vaccine could be quicker to manufacture because “you can switch in and switch out the genetic sequencing very easily.” And at the same time California is being locked down, and calls for pandemic restrictions are circulating, shot salesman Bill Gates has requested a special meeting with President Trump. Bill Gates' solution is to form an international task force to take over public health policy. He calls this the GERM team (Global Epidemic Response & Mobilization), and the members would answer to the WHO, and bark orders to Americans from their foreign countries. He is asking for $1 billion a year and 3000 members on full time salary. This would essentially supplant the authority of Trump medical freedom experts, who proved they were on OUR side by resisting the shots, lockdowns, and experimental tyranny. Birx says we need to treat this like the bioweapon pandemic and pre-emptively lock down through mass PCR testing. Canada's morality in question as mass killing looms Hundreds of ostriches' fate to be decided by Supreme Court on November 6. On Thursday, the Supreme Court of Canada will decide whether it will hear an appeal made by Universal Ostrich Farms, which is seeking to stop the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) from killing all of its ostriches. This critical story touches on every aspect of Canada's governance practices, and morality. This farm in BC raises ostriches, which are studied for purposes of advancing science, specifically natural immunity. These birds are not raised to be slaughtered like poultry; instead, their value comes from long-term study of the birds, alive, and their eggs. In comes the CFIA in December 2024, on an anonymous tip that some of the ostriches were sick. The agency reportedly used overly sensitive tests on two deceased birds to obtain a positive test for avian flu. Consequently, without testing any remaining ostriches, the CFIA decided all the ostriches must be killed. The CFIA has many powers at its disposal, from quarantining to isolation and disinfecting, to testing and monitoring, to mass culling and so on. It decided the mass kill option was the only option it would pursue despite national and international pushback. The agency referenced the stamping-out policy by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH), which Canada is a treaty member of. This policy was designed to stop highly contagious diseases spreading in animals before it could have national livestock or global trade impacts. The WOAH is funded by treaty nation members, alongside vaccine immunity promoting NGOs like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The Health of Animals Act, World Trade Organization Agreement Implementation Act, and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act provide most of the legal framework allowing the CFIA to kill whatever it wants while referencing international policy agreements. The CFIA can provide exemptions to the mass culling policy, as was requested for the ostriches, but decided it would rather just kill them all. A year after this ‘deadly mutant avian flu’ passed through the herd, the agency persists. The CFIA disagrees with the animals being allowed to exist while having exposure to wildlife, and disputes the scientific approach presented by the farmers regarding the uniqueness of the herd. Those at the CFIA also refuse to do further testing of any kind. The CFIA appears to be taking issue with the farm's scientific approach under the guise of 'health risks' associated with the remaining birds. This is the same CFIA which arrested a small-time Alberta egg farmer for having too many hens and allegedly buried chickens alive under the carcasses of their deceased peers. Despite the CFIA's intentions, Universal Ostrich Farms brought the matter to court. The Federal Court ruled with the CFIA on the grounds that it is a federal body established by Parliament and thus should not be interfered with. The Federal Court of Appeal sided with that ruling. The fully-vaccinated Supreme Court of Canada is set to decide whether it will hear an appeal from the farm on November 6. If the Supreme Court refuses, the CFIA may proceed with the killings immediately, and if it approves then the matter will be brought before the court. Liberal Party Minister of Health, Marjorie Michel, is the authority over the CFIA and could intervene, but has remained silent on the subject. The birds have been legally protected from death as this has moved through the courts, thanks to stay orders requested by the farm's legal representation, lawyer Umar Sheikh. During legal proceedings the CFIA was granted control of the farm and other lands, and is using its power to enforce RCMP engagement. While the matter is before the courts, the agency has seized lands and properties of locals, had around half a dozen people arrested, and presided over a bird allegedly dying of neglect under its control. It's a bloodthirsty gang of bureaucrats on a literal killing spree, granted seemingly unlimited power from the federal Liberal Party, while the courts appear to be looking the other way. Previously to fighting for the ostrich farm, Mr. Sheikh represented Sheila Annette Lewis, of Alberta. Ms. Lewis was denied a lifesaving organ transplant in Canada because of her and her family’s vaccination status despite having natural immunity to COVID-19. Sheikh won her case and got her back on the transplant list, but because of Canada’s ‘the process is the punishment’ legal system, Sheila passed away before she could receive a transplant. There are stark parallels to this story. In both cases, the government ignored tried and true natural immunity, replacing the concept with financially-incentivized vaccine immunity claims. In both scenarios, whether it’s our common man, or the animals we tend to, the Canadian government’s first objective appears to be in line with the grim reaper. To sum it all up, the government wants the birds to die because that’s their policy, death. We'll see on November 6 what the Supreme Court says.

Iran is rated Not Free by Freedom House, with a score of 10 out of 100 in its 2026 report. Political rights: 4 out of 40. Civil liberties: 6 out of 60. It is literally one of the least free countries on earth. Amnesty International reported that Iranian authorities executed over 1,000 people in 2025, the highest yearly number Amnesty has recorded in Iran in at least 15 years. The regime uses executions not only for ordinary criminal punishment, but as a weapon of political terror, including against protesters and dissidents. The “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests began after Mahsa Amini died in custody after being detained by Iran’s morality police over hijab. The regime answered those protests with mass arrests, beatings, torture, executions, forced confessions, internet shutdowns, and show trials. The UN’s fact-finding mission has documented state repression tied to compulsory hijab enforcement and abuses against women and protesters. Iran ranked near the very bottom of global press freedom measurements as well, with Reporters Without Borders placing it 176th out of 180 in the 2025 World Press Freedom Index. The latest mass protests in Iran were met with mass arrests, internet blackouts, lethal force, disappearances, and executions. Human Rights Watch said Iranian security forces carried out “mass killings of protesters” after nationwide protests escalated on January 8. AP reported that activists put the death toll above 7,000, while other estimates, harder to verify because the regime shuts down the internet and hides evidence, have placed the possible number far far higher. A “liberal” country does not answer public unrest by cutting communications, filling prisons, shooting protesters, and sending dissidents to the gallows. A country where journalists cannot report freely, women cannot dress freely, dissidents cannot organize freely, and protesters can be hanged after sham trials is not “liberal” because somebody found a cafe in Tehran. People laughing in public does not erase prisons, gallows, morality police, torture chambers, surveillance, forced confessions, and the bodies of protesters handed back to their families. Tucker says it like he has discovered some hidden truth the rest of us are too stupid or propagandized to understand. Kiriakou then backs it up with the kind of evidence a naive college freshman brings back from a semester abroad. “I saw cafes.” Wonderful. Stalin had theaters. Assad had restaurants. Saddam had weddings. North Korea has smiling children in staged parades. Human beings keep living under tyranny because human beings keep living. That does not make the tyranny liberal. It only proves that Tucker is so committed to his narrative that Israel is the root of all evil that he is willing to look at the Islamic Republic of Iran and describe it as liberal while Iranian women, journalists, dissidents, religious minorities, and protesters pay the price for discovering otherwise.
