There is no need to get married to a deal, no matter what the outcome of the deal is, you are not a deal. There will always be another deal, markets have been around for 100 years and will continue to do so

Leverage and Stoploss If you are not an expert don’t trade

Obviously going to get stopped out way more than needed if using such tight stops and if you're reacting the way he is even during the initial portion of his trade, you're doing it wrong...

Just don’t sit and stair at the charts all day ? Place your trade and leave it, I will say it does play with mental illness but still why do that to yourself

How to prevent this: Either wait for the actual break out (higher high) to enter….. or enter at the pullback near the support level with a tight SL below support… Or yolo like he did and just have less of a tight SL. While his analysis was correct, He entered prematurely and was impatient.

Tight stops are retarded, at least gotta be ready to back in if you're gonna play that game.

why would you long at that place when the trend is down? also after „liquidity sweep“ happened there is double bottom and basically entry is on the same place he had it but .. too soon

If he waited for the BTL breakout, or bought the bottom of the channel... but it's easy to say after the market goes. If you don't want to be challenged every day, the market is not for you

I don't even trade and would always put my entry lower closer to everyone's sl. And my sl would be in low deviation levels. Thats just common sense.

stopped out = close the chart if you cant handle the psychology. on a setup like this, i would wait for the first bottom to get swept, preferably with a divergence

That's why doubling down and chasing are profitable plays

Day trading is stupid, from 10 years experience. If it's a swing trade, it would be very good one. A good trade shouldn't be limited by time. When to close is up to the market, but the closing bell.

That's not trading, it's gambling. He should probably go to Vegas. I bet he would have more fun.

Most day traders suffer mentally not because they’re weak, but because day trading fights human psychology. 70-95% lose money fast → crushing pain, anxiety & depression. Dopamine rollercoaster like gambling. Constant noise, uncertainty & decision fatigue fry your brain. Pure charting chases randomness, not logic. If it’s wrecking your peace, that’s data: it’s rarely the right way. Step back and prioritize sustainable logic over the short-term grind.
