I liked seeing a big man post up once in a while or the way Hakeem rockets played

@bomani_jones The only style of player that doesn’t exist anymore is the strictly defensive players like Andre Roberson imo

Players will have a bad shooting game 4/16, then you look at the player stats and they shot 10 3s out of the 16 FG. WHY! Or a team is down by 10-13 and instead of getting a higher % shot, they take a 3 as if it going to cut the deficit in half 🤦🏽. Score 2, play good def, REPEAT!

@bomani_jones I haven’t been a huge NBA fan since the late 90’s/ early 2000’s but I would still watch 1-2 games a week after football was over until the last 5-10 of years when I would only tune in for the playoffs. The last couple of seasons I have watched less than 10 games total!

Wider variety of shots and allowing for more physical defense would be my preference. You can’t touch guys on offense anymore and people are sick of players getting 10 FT off ticky tac fouls.

That’s a truly terrible take. What player in history do SGA, Jokic, Giannis, etc resemble? There’s a 7’6 guy that plays like a mix between Kareem and KD. In fact there are so many players that are so unique to this era we literally invented the term “unicorn” to describe them
