I'm a contractor- Those sockets are not made to withstand a fan (weight + spinning) There are special bracketed ceiling boxes which are attached to framing which supports a fan. This thing will fall on your head eventually 100%. Wouldn't recommend it.

Bruh I was the same way when I discovered it by a random amazon search for something else and now have 4 in my house! Also some come with bluetooth so can use your phone as a remote if the batteries or remote is lost that come with it.
