Why not Devils Never Cry? Like Devil Trigger isn't even Dante's song, its Nero's theme and tied to his journey of embracing his legacy connected to Virgil and even containing direct reference to lines from DMC 4 regarding said legacy.

The only reason I'm guessing they're using it, is because all the music is the most popular and mainstream tracks so it's the most recognizable

Because this is a show made for people who only played(watched) 5 and look at memes.

Adi Shankar (the man who made this netflix series ) has different taste and songs. Idk why he used “Devil Trigger” for Dante theme but yes he should’ve used “Devils Never Cry” but he will use for next season soon….probably…

Yeah, man. The D.T activation in the show didn't feel as impactful as DMC3 was. It feels like they used "Devil Trigger" just because it's much more popular.

Fuck even if we for some reason have to arbitrarily stick to dmc5 music subhuman is still a fucking great song. Hell his DT is even apeing the silhouette of Sin devil trigger so why not just go with subhuman.

The tame whispered vocals in the second half of 'Devils Never Cry', juxtaposed with the wild screaming vocals of the first half was a phenomenal reflection of Dante's maturation and focused worldview, grown from DMC3 seamlessly into DMC1 Dante.

I was just watching the ending to DMC3 last night and gosh dang darn it is still amazing.

They shouldve just made a 1:1 adaptation of dmc3 since they cant do somthing different but imof equal value atp
