Democrats block bill to fund Military pay. The senate tried to pass a $852 Billion dollar defense spending bill. This money would have kept the Pentagon running, support National Security programs and guarantee pay for our Service Members. Our Military should never go without pay as their sacrifices are made every day. The members of Congress should not receive any pay when the Government is shutdown.

Tomorrow, the Senate will take a key vote on the $1.1 TRILLION defense bill. It not only fails to rein in Trump’s Iran war, it also has a provision touted by PM Netanyahu to MANDATE more U.S. defense cooperation with Israel. None of this is in our national security interests. I will vote NO.

No, Section 219 doesn’t merge our military with Israel's. It doesn't put American soldiers under an Israeli officer. It's not "treason." None of that is in the bill. This isn’t a new concept. We've done similar things before. But somehow this time, because Israel is involved, it's the end of the world?

If that nation becomes our enemy, the law forces us to keep working with them. The Constitution defines treason as giving aid and comfort to our enemies. This bill doesn’t just restrict the President; it can mandate treason. That’s not America First. That’s unconstitutional.
