Every single neighborhood had a gigantic roving gang of wild feral children. Surviving off of chlorine and bologna sandwiches. I haven’t seen a child playing any sports in the street in 20 years. The 80s to me were my aunts and uncles getting all sorts of awesome good paying jobs and us travelling to visit their show off sessions. And burning my thumb print off in the Conversion Van in Colorado. I fell in a cactus as well. 1987. But at home was the endless hours in the woods, my quarter pipe, scooters, go carts, goofy golf, drive in root beer, garbage pal kid stickers, NASH skate boards and going to the roller rink(my grandfather built).
