Sir, Vellore already has an airport. The government should prioritise its large scale expansion and transform it into a modern Greenfield-standard aviation hub. The development of Vellore Airport could take the growth of Vellore and its surrounding region to the next level. Vellore is already an international medical destination. Patients from across India and several countries visit the city for advanced treatment, particularly at CMC Vellore. A functional and well-connected airport would significantly improve accessibility for patients, their families and international visitors. It would also benefit the large number of people travelling from North India. The airport could also become a major gateway for spiritual tourism. Tiruvannamalai, one of Tamil Nadu's most important spiritual destinations, can be reached from Vellore in around 1.5 hours. Better air connectivity could attract domestic and international devotees and tourists. Located just around 130 km from Chennai and positioned along a major National Highway corridor, Vellore Airport has strong strategic advantages. It can serve not only Vellore but also Ranipet, Arcot, Walajapet, Tiruvannamalai and other surrounding regions. The infrastructure already exists. What is needed now is vision and priority. The government must seriously consider expanding and operationalising Vellore Airport as a modern, sustainable aviation hub—unlocking massive opportunities in healthcare, tourism, business and regional development. Vellore does not need to wait for a new opportunity. It already has one the government simply needs to help it take off.

Please do something for Jharkhand. Jamshedpur airport in Dhalbhumgarh site zero progress. We are in 2026 yet no airport. Require your approval and support to expedite this. I'll keep commenting until it's done

Nooo. Your valuable time should be concentrated on what passengers need and making their life better - carry on baggage issues, refunds, smoother security, reduced capacity across India , uncontrolled cancellation fees, hidden booking fees, CUTE fees etc, the list is long. Even if you resolve half of these, you would leave the impression that you are a good minister. Leave the designs to architects. You can direct them one time, but that’s it. If you truly respect transparency, you would report every week what customer issues you worked that week. That’s what we expect from you, as a young minister. Remember , you are a minister, not just a politician!!

Flight AI2145 from New Delhi to Bali getting late by more than 2 hours and Air India is silent over providing any refreshment to the waiting passengers. Very strange and shameful on the part of Airlines
