You guessed it. This is “within spec”. Tesla Service compared my truck to two others on their lot and said this is a FEATURE, not a bug. My rear center headrest assembly is not only loose on its hinge and squeals when adjusted, but also gets stuck. Very confusing. Here’s how I’d expect it to operate: -Assembly should lock tightly into upright position. (It does not) -Headrest should glide smoothly and silently through its entire range of motion (it does not) -Assembly should sit firmly in the downward position without bouncing (it does not— I’d hate to hit a pothole with drinks in this) -Headrest should not move laterally on its rails (it currently is loose and moves in all directions) -All functions should be in silence (it is not) Am I being too picky, or am I missing something here?

I never grow tired of watching these birds do what they do best, catch fish. The amount of effort that goes into one single catch is immeasurable. From soaring through the air, to submerging themselves in a foreign underwater world to floating on the surface with an injured fish in its talons. I’ve always wondered: do sharks ever cruise up, see the chaos, and go, “Thanks for the delivery,” before snatching a two-course meal of fish and bird? Luckily for this Osprey, not today. Today, it yanked a pompano straight from its home and took to the skies with Florida’s glittering coastline as its victory lap. Glad I’m not a fish. Glad I’m not a pompano.

🇺🇦👍 Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has purchased the first batch of Ukrainian guided aerial bombs (KABs), according to Mykhailo Fedorov. "The first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb (KAB) is ready for combat use. Ukraine continues to develop high-tech solutions for the front. A participant in the Brave1 program has created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb, which has already passed testing and is ready for operational deployment. The development took 17 months. The system is designed specifically for the realities of modern warfare and features a unique design. It is not a copy of Western or Soviet systems, but an original Ukrainian engineering solution intended to strike fortified positions, command posts, and other enemy targets at significant distances after release. The warhead weighs 250 kg. The Ministry of Defence has already purchased an initial experimental batch. Pilots are currently training with the system and adapting its use to real combat conditions. Ukraine is shifting from importing individual solutions to developing its own high-tech weapons systems, strengthening its defence forces and improving battlefield capabilities. In the near future, Ukrainian guided bombs will be used against enemy targets, increasing both range and accuracy and changing the dynamics of modern warfare." - The Ukrainian Minister of Defence wrote in his Telegram channel.

This is the drone swarm thing I spoke about in that podcast. Clearly exaggerated since its a movie but thats not the point. Point is how a kamikaze drone swarm is used to overwhelm a target. And its not 5-10 or 50 drones. Its literally thousands of drones. This is why in my opinion cost of making drone is so important. Also anti-drone tech is also equally important.
