'Why should we split it when I'm not spending that amount of money!' 'Get yourself some better friends!' Dealing with splitting the bill can be problematic! Is it better to keep money and friendships separate?

Splitting equally when you spent £35 and the fat nigga spent £89 makes no sense Everyone should pay for what they ate & drank What is this weird obsession with using other people’s money?? Friends don’t rob friends

I’m happy to split a bill if we’ve all had about the same, but if someone has had a lot less, what sort of friend would expect them to pay for the higher price stuff? Imagine being Lisa’s friend and being left out because you can’t afford the same as her 🤣😫

Dumb argument, even the cheapest of pubs will have expensive options. Pay for what you order, and if you're upset that your friends want to do that, you're the problem.

This shouldn’t really be a topic in my opinion. Times are hard, the friends I choose, I choose because of personality, character, moral compass, support. Not what they have financially. I like to eat fancy, if they want to pay for what they are only. I don’t question.
