You can clearly see the train tracks diverge from a single point. This proves that the origin of the train track is at most 100 feet!!!

Ohhhh man! … please use the law of sines to tell us how far the sun is away! 🧐

Hmm, I don't think you took the earth's tilt into consideration.

Parallel lines converge in out vision due to perspective. This is something we figured out around the 15th century. The sun is very bright. As bright you think it is, it is brighter. The inverse square law does not mean it is close and every measurement indicates it is far away.

Anticrepuscular rays are the opposite... and kinda shut the entire argument down

Flat Earth is most retarded niche on the whole Internet. You guys are plainly ignorant of basic, objective epistemology. You can't make up for your lack of knowledge with YT videos. The video's core argument is flawed at every step. It correctly explains the inverse square law but then misapplies it to crepuscular rays (the visible sunbeams through clouds). It claims that rays from a sun 93 million miles away must arrive perfectly parallel on Earth, yet the observed rays visibly converge—therefore the sun must be close. It even tries to calculate a nearby distance using the law of sines on the apparent angles. This is a classic misunderstanding of perspective in optics. The rays are parallel (exactly as the distant-sun model and inverse square law predict). Their apparent convergence is purely an effect of linear perspective—the same geometry that makes parallel railroad tracks appear to meet at the horizon.

This is what I’ve been saying…much less articulately - however my point stands.

He whole idea of the sun being a giant ball of fire is utterly retarded. It's fairy tale.

You simply observing the Moon's phases would demonstrate to you that the Sun is distant. #GottaLieToFlerf #Flerf #FlatEarth #Science, #Bitches!

No it wouldnt be parallel to where you are, and the graphic shows that the closer the the poles the more steep it eould be.

You cannot make 3D conclusions from a 2D photo. All those Sun rays are parallel and they are moving AROUND you so they seem to spread only for that reason.

if the sun works like the flat earth models suggest, then wouldn’t the sun also act like a balloon full of helium does when you let it go into the air? as it gets further away from view it would get smaller and smaller!

Depending on the flat earth design and the sun at the same height circle on top, shouldn’t the sun become smaller and smaller when she moves away from you?

Those rays are caused by prospective, they are parallel, it’s just the sense they are on opposite sides of your field of view, they look like they converge to the center.

The Sun IS 93 million miles away and that is beyond dispute. You have been schooled on this several times but keep repeating a false claim. You are marked as a Spam account.

You say just trust your eyes, but you cannot just intuit how far away the sun is even if it’s only 10s or 100s of miles away. Also you say the sun is in front of or between the clouds when in those photos it is very clearly behind them. The sun is never in front of the clouds.
