don't place the fan too close to you. maybe two meters away so it can calmly cool your skin without causing dryness due to moisture evaporation from your body. Drink a glass of water before sleep helps you keeps hydrated.

it is better than the too hot air that is flowing in my apartment, which i canot control, during winter months. I also dont like not feeling air on me. my fan is about 6 feet away from me, so i dont think its gonna hurt me.
