Why so many screws?

Racked my brain and came up with 3 (dumb but possible) reasons 1. Because impact go “Brap brap brap”… 2. he brought extra screws but didn’t end up dropping any (rare) 3. Not putting those back in the organizer

More screws makes it more solid. Drywall is pretty brittle. One screw might not hold.

Any less screws & that new wall patch would twist/ turn. 🤷‍♂️

I glue and use 4 screws.
