The human loaded us into the van just before 6 this morning. That's ridiculously early for her unless it's a dog Show weekend, which it isn't. Turns out she and the spare human had decided since it's been so hot out, they'd take us to a big off leash area really early in the morning. We don't typically go to many dog parks so we can avoid dogs that might be pushy or rude. And not just to baby rottie Kenji and I! Also our human. You'd be amazed how many dogs will chase her wheelchair tires, or jump all over her because she's seated. Some even try to steal her treats because they're easier to reach. But before 7 the park was pretty much empty. Except for us. And a gazillion mosquitoes. It was great though. So much to sniff, and we had a good run. Kenji practiced his recalls and his giant moose calf legs sprinted back every time! There was still dew on the long grass so we came back a little soggy. It was definitely worth getting up early for! And the best part, we came home just in time for breakfast!!! 🎥 Me. Fast as fluff. #LifeOfChesnyy #SaturdayShenanigans

This little puppy was rescued yesterday evening and taken straight to the vet for urgent treatment and care 😢 We've called her Berani ❤ It's so heartbreaking that we have to deal with so much neglect and abandonment of these beautiful dogs. Just look at the sorry state of her! 💔 We couldn't leave her to suffer 😞 She has scabies, open and infected wounds all over her tiny body, anaemia and blood parasites. She's currently having more tests done to check the functionality of her vital organs. She's weak and very sick 😞 We DESPERATELY need your help with funding. We are so very low on donations, literally not bringing in a third of what we need each month to survive. I've been to 50 countries now, but it was my trip in 2017 to the Maldives that made me feel we were making a big impact in the travel industry. I remember meeting with the PR team at Conrad Hotels Maldives. They said they wanted to become the top-followed Maldives hotel brand. So, we started posting content on Earthpix right away. By the time I left, their follower count had jumped from 32k to 120k. After returning, we ran a giveaway, pushing them over 200k followers and hotel bookings were at an all time high. That's why they contracted us in 2018 to announce the grand opening of their underwater villa, The Muraka. They even gave us a year's exclusivity, not letting any other travel bloggers or influencers stay and experience The Muraka that year. Our Muraka campaign got over 500 million views across all social platforms that year and some of our videos were featured on tv news channels. I have many stories like this. I don't always share them, but I'm really proud of what we've achieved at Earthpix, and of everyone who's been a part of our journey. We're just getting started.

There’s one thing you need to know about this idol: she’s not just anybody in Korea. She’s genuinely very popular and well-known there, and I think people sometimes forget just how much presence she has in the Korean industry. I thought a lot in these days to write about what happened in the past days, but because i saw them already lying (looks like to be liar is their inner nature) i will talk about the bad behavior and disrespect of cpf fans aka #bjyx or #yizhan during the days of mfw. I think everyone can stay outside the shows to see their favorite celebrities but respect should be the main value to follow, you are there for Xiao Zhan, he is doing his work, why are you bringing irrelevant people into HIS JOB EVENT?! Why do you want to push your fanfictions into his face? Why have you to disturb the common order of everyone there? Even people from other fandoms were shocked by their behavior! I will divide everything into 3 chapters - - 25th G show. They found a spot and attach a dirty banner and even G brand staff came out from the event asking to the removal of their disgusting banner and brought it away. I add also video of the fact. The cpf tried also to disguise herself wearing a red jacket, but she was not happy, the moment G brand staff went away with the banner, instead to be ashamed, she brought out new banners, with the visible surname of another person and their yellow colors! She also argued for long with a poor security guy who was really done So are you there for what? To see someone you claim to be fan or just for a selfish pleasure being disrespectful towards xz?!? - 27th we organized a loch special screening in a cinema, we were us xfx + some passerby we invited, the hall was private booked and it was totally filled. But some of them came to the cinema and argued even with the cinema staff! They tried to snatch into a private event and threaten the cinema staff 😱 - 28th T brand even was the worst day. They were so chaotic and such a disturbance that after a while even the security guard in our zone noticed they were weird and started to monitored them closer. At certain time they exploded again and even the security guard was able to contain the she brought out new banners, with the visible surname of another person and their yellow colors! She also argued for long with a poor security guy who was really done So are you there for what? The World Cup ends today. One game left. By tomorrow most of you visitors will be packing up, heading to the airport, going home. So before you go, let me say the thing I actually want to say. A few weeks ago I wrote a silly post about all the things you were discovering here. Free refills. Free water. Ice like civilized people. Chips and salsa before you even order. Air conditioning that is a fact and not a moral debate. Drive-throughs. Ranch by the gallon. The Germans standing in the HEB meat aisle in reverent silence, finally understanding why we do not have trains. Buc-ee’s, for which there are still no words. It blew up, because it was true, and because you were so delightfully stunned by all of it. Even the Wall Street Journal caught on. Their headline this week: how the US lost the World Cup and won over the world. We did not lift the trophy. But apparently we lifted something else. We even learned a few things about ourselves along the way. Like the fact that Elon Musk, the single richest man on the planet, shops at HEB. Just rolls in and queues up for fresh tortillas with everybody else. The man could buy the tortilla company, the state it is in, and the moon it sits under, and instead he is standing in line at the hot-tortilla counter like the rest of us, because that is where the good ones are. Only in America is the wealthiest human alive elbow to elbow with a mom of four at the salsa bar. That is the whole country in one aisle. And here is the part I want every one of you to hear on your way out the door. None of it was a show. We did not roll all this out because you were coming. The ice was always there. The refills were always free. The grocery stores were always the size of aircraft hangars at ten on a Tuesday. The stranger who adopted your whole section, the guy who gave you a ride, the waitress who remembered your order, the family that invited you to the cookout, that is not World Cup America. That is just America. That is Tuesday. We are exactly like this when nobody is visiting. Loud, generous, ridiculous, overfed, and genuinely thrilled you came. We will still be exactly like this tomorrow when the stands are empty and the flags come down. So thank you. To everyone who came, who sang in our streets, who cleaned our stadiums, who turned our cities orange and filled our bars and taught us your chants. You were wonderful guests, and you made a country that just turned 250 feel young and seen and loved. And to everyone who could not make it this time, the door does not close today. We meant all of it. Come whenever. The porch light stays on, the fridge stays full, and there is always room for one more at the table. You found out who we are these last few weeks. Good news. $I don't believe in angels & fairies - but I encountered them myself in Norway. Still shaking my head in disbelief (and relief that angels do exist) At the fag end our Norway Updates drive through - my wife Nidhi & I were hiking to Preikestolen (the world famous #PulpitRock) close to the city of #Stavanger. It's a must do if you are in Norway - though it's not the easiest of hikes, especially if it has rained so much, making the terrain slippery. We took the chance, reached Pulpit Rock and enjoyed some amazing fjord views - on our way back however Nidhi's leg slipped and she seriously sprained / fractured her ankle. About 4 kilometres from civilisation, biting cold winds, rain fast approaching and unable to move - I was at my wits end on what to do next. However fellow hikers asked me to call 113 - assuring me that help will reach us. Really? With no other option - I called the emergency number with a lot of skepticism, but what happened next...showed me Norway's finest. Within minutes the responders had used my phone to pin my location and assured me help was on the way. In less than an hour - an ARMY of mountain rescuers - accompanied by doctors were with us. They examined Nidhi - put her leg in a vacuum bag - opened up a portable stretcher - and 6 super-humans carted Nidhi all the way to the base camp. All with a smile. Wait it gets better. While Nidhi & I were worried if we could even afford this rescue - we came to know that these angels were from the Norwegian People’s Aid Norsk Folkehjelp - an NGO that offers Rescue Service and First Aid to those in need - for free. Wait it gets even better. These rescuers were not part of any paid / professional team that was at the park / trail - they were normal working Norwegians who just land up to help when the need arises. One of the rescuers was a surveyor / another who has been doing this for 15 years - works in the petroleum industry! For a nation that spends so much time in rain / darkness - I came to understand why Norway is one of the happiest nations on the planet. It’s been a couple of days since our last update on Payton’s recovery from pneumonia and cleft palate surgery. Long story short, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. She’s required oxygen - finally got off of that today - and has started crying finally. Before this surgery, she cried twice in her entire life, so that’s been very difficult for us to see because it means something is wrong and upsetting her. She’s required one of us to be by her 24/7 as she’s needed suctioning CONSTANTLY with all the junk coming up and the drool, along with her frequent puking and bowel movements. The antibiotic is absolutely helping with the pneumonia, but it’s destroying her little digestive system. Please be praying that her stomach starts to not upset her as much and she can give her body a bit of rest. The plus side is that she has started sleeping like a champ at night. Previously, if we could get six straight hours of sleep, we viewed that as a really good night. The past several nights, she’s gotten eight or more straight hours to the point where our night nurses have been slightly concerned. 😂 We seem to be turning a corner though, thankfully. We’re hoping that after taking five steps back with this surgery that we can now begin the road forward to taking 20 steps with speech, eating, etc. that comes with a closed palate. And we’re still finding moments of joy like this in the midst of the toughest two weeks we can ever remember. Thank you to everyone who keeps checking in on us, bringing us meals, and praying for us. We appreciate it more than you know.

Please be praying that her stomach starts to not upset her as much and she can give her body a bit of rest. The plus side is that she has started sleeping like a champ at night. Previously, if we could get six straight hours of sleep, we viewed that as a really good night. The past several nights, she’s gotten eight or more straight hours to the point where our night nurses have been slightly concerned. 😂 We seem to be turning a corner though, thankfully. We’re hoping that after taking five steps back with this surgery that we can now begin the road forward to taking 20 steps with speech, eating, etc. that comes with a closed palate. And we’re still finding moments of joy like this in the midst of the toughest two weeks we can ever remember. Thank you to everyone who keeps checking in on us, bringing us meals, and praying for us. We appreciate it more than you know.
