AMEN to the female manager ensuring the guy on the phone didn't get close to the girl's dad. When he stepped outside, she held the door shut and apologised for what was happening. I think there are multiple ways to look at this. Girls can use the men's bathroom with their dad, which I've personally witnessed. I've never had an issue with dads using men's bathrooms with their daughters, but I'm always alert to other men approaching to prevent harassment or harm. The issue with very young girls is that using the men's bathroom could teach them they can use it later in life. On the other hand, dads using women's bathrooms to teach their daughters could make some women uncomfortable with a man in the women's bathroom.

Yes, because the real danger is a 4 yr old learning she might one day use a toilet. Better scare the dad out instead of, you know, minding your own business!!

Any good dad knows from experience how high chance there is of encountering creepy dudes in a male public restroom I can't count how many times I've seen random dudes trying to interact with other parents' kids in there. Girls are always safer outside of men's bathrooms period
