You got a gift in story telling 😂

Let’s not overlook the fact that the US MILITARY uses metric. For obvious reasons.

Month : day : year is the most disgusting thing ever lol

Well I tell you what... You used a little too many words for me Ya lost my attention N now im offended

My Father said miles and my grandfather said miles, so why should I say KIM 😂😂😂

Yes you're absolutely right I agree with you 💯 % This is absolutely bullshit 🙄 the metric system is much easier and absolutely clear.🤷♂️

Nigeria we use all 🤣🤣🤣

USA temp measurement is way better and you know it. Why measure by water. Distance? Metric is better

The only advantage of our system is 12 is more divisible than 10. You can't evenly divide 10 by 3 or 4, but you can divide 12 by 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6.

Because the United States is bum

The world: Why do you all use the imperial system?? The US: Cause fuck you, that’s why🤠👍🏿

I need you to give my Eulogy when my time comes, hands down best storyteller for life!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

FYI my kids never learned the metric system (I learned both in school). I brought up meters or something and my kids are like what are you talking about? They said they had like an hour of it in fifth grade or something they have no clue.

He completely skipped over that we never received the reference measurements because the British intercepted the ship and sold the reference materials as scrap. After the industrial revolution, the US had a robust infrastructure that was based on the imperial system all of our pipes and pumps, electrical lines, tooling, engineering calculations, references, etc are using imperial. States and municipalities have attempted to switch to metric. The existing infrastructure will have to be maintained for the next 80+ years if not indefinitely. Those systems will require imperial in order to maintain the systems. Continental Europe switched over to metric prior to the Industrial Revolution coming into full swing with the Napoleonic governments.

Man I'm really disappointed you called it a liter of coke. Total missed opportunity.

Ya. So us Canadians, do a lot of trade with you. We got stuck in the middle. 🤷🏻♀️

"I can't drive 88.15" doesn't have the same ring

I probably would have listened more in class in my teachers knew how to engage with the audience like this

I can use any measurement system but I will die on the hill that Fahrenheit is the superior temperature measurement. 0-100 is not enough to accurately measure how the temperature FEELS.

In medical field everything is metric. Even in US

The U.K. isn’t really metricised you know? We changed our money and temperature but everything else is kind of mixed depending on use… milk comes in pints or millilitres depending where you buy it, beer in pints, distance and speed in miles or knots, measurements in both… I might say “that’s 3 ft and a couple of mil” for eg

This is why whenever we get asked about temperature 🌡️ in Fahrenheit, we answer "No comprende, Celsius only". Even if we can actually make the conversion from metric to imperial. No comprende...

best story teller 🤟🏿

Canada uses both and measures distance by hours not KMs

"Using the metric system for missiles and ordnance while keeping Fahrenheit for the barbecue just sums up American engineering priorities."

Lol Gemini "freedom units".. more like "Parasite Units"

I remember in elementary school they started teaching us metrics. It’s so much easier. I think it was a Bill that required it. For some reason they stopped. I found this. “• Metric Conversion Act of 1975: Signed into law by President Gerald Ford, this act established the U.S. Metric Board to coordinate a voluntary changeover to the metric system. • Impact on Schools: Because of the push from the federal act in the late 1970s, many school districts nationwide added metric system units and conversions to their math and science curricula, anticipating a full national shift.”

Canada also uses a mixed system

Love your story telling keep up the good work 🙌

Y'all, it's like this: 10mm = 1cm 100cm = 1m 1,000m = 1km I ask you: How many 7/32nds of an inch make 1 furlong? I rest my case! (Btw, I weigh 143lbs.) 😂

Because we’re better than you

The US military uses the metric system. 🤣

Americans are the stubborn spoiled kids of the world.
