Instead of the unemployment grant maybe government can subsidize wages for domestic workers, nannies, gardeners and security guards for the middle class. I would to to have a live-in helper but I can't afford it, so I end up calling her in x2 a month to clean and do laundry😥

It's subsidized through RDPs, free healthcare, free schooling and cheap public transportation.

1st world countries middle class don't have nannies, it's reserved for the rich but in a 'poor' country like SA people have more than one help. Make it make sense! Nothing will Justify exploiting people when you yourself wouldn't want to be exploited.

I don't believe that an ordinary South African under the poverty line would refuse working because the pay is under the minimum wage this isn't truth !!!

Township were deliberate to be far from the economy. When white people moved from jhb all those flats were suppose to be taken over by black South African but rather jhb became African slum. Studies have shown that you get more opportunities by staying next to economic hub
