@davidagoodland Actually central government taxes fund nothing. Government creates the money it spends. Taxes are there to claw a lot of that spending back as excess liquidity is inflationary. Local taxes do fund things, including schools though.

Farmers pay tax. I pay tax. We want to pay tax (as much as anyone else wants to pay tax) If we could afford the inheritance tax bill we would pay it. Like we pay everything else. We either have the inheritance tax rules reversed or we have to demand better prices for our produce to be able to pay the tax. Farmland can’t be and must not be sold to pay the tax. Food security is the priority for this country and we have to protect it. Here’s my thoughts on what we can do about this.
