Why WILLIAM REGAL rules!

This is the first Why THIS PERSON Rules and it could have been just a picture of Regal with a minute of silence and we'd still all be like 'yup!' 😂

"He always looks like he smells something." - Kevin Nash 🤣

Im very honoured to have seen William Regal wrestle Daniel Bryan in 2011 at the NEC Birmingham at a house show

He’s just ace.

William Regal is probably one of the best technical players in the game.

Also one of the unsung badasses in real life you would not want to get in a fight with. He's the one who broke up the real fight between Big Show and Great Khali and actually restrained Big Show. Not someone you ever want to piss off.

@RealKingRegal was severely underrated as a wrestler, and on the mic

The Blue Bloods theme song is a regular in my daily playlist. I loved watching him in the early 90s in WCW cause his performances including his athleticism and his facial expression have been outstanding and extremely entertaining.

I remember in his WCW days almost ANY head butt or shot to the head would result in him bleeding hardway. Thats when I noticed the WCW tv hard cam would always zoom out during a match, to not show the blood. I always called it “going on Regal-vision”. Tough man, soft forehead!!

Better yet, Mr. Regal got to expose how Bill Goldberg had all the actual wrestling ability of a 7 year old.

It infuriates me that he’s not in the HOF

His match with Goldberg is what won me over, I never liked Goldberg

His matches with Benoit in the early to mid 2000's are some of my favorite matches of all time... The best ones are on the Brian Pillman Memorial DVD, but there's a fantastic one from No Mercy 2006 too. The intensity of those matches are unmatched in terms of physicality.

Always super polite with fans and giving of his time.
