Not correct. They have set limits on the amount of rent (500), so the amount is closer to 1,100 and food costs are through the roof.

So Germany imports millions of foreigners who live off of Bürgergeld meanwhile the native German tax payers are being taxed till they basically have nothing left. What a great system.

I am working for 6 figures a year.. ppl that live from 560€ are pretty much excluded from life, fun, cars, parties…. Sure u can live from it, but how? its like saying, it’s awesome to live on the street, there u can also drink beer all day. And whats the alternative from a nation‘s perspective. Starve those, who don’t get a Job? our cost of living like rent, energy and food are too high. but as a Single, the Bürgergeld wouldnt pay for a flat u wanna live in, I tell u that. the real ones to blame are the companies that pay just above the bare minimum level.

In any case, this is a very cynical misrepresentation, clearly from the perspective of someone who hasn't lived it. 1) The size and costs for your home are limited. 2) If you don't show up for appointments and do your part in trying to find a job, the money gets cut. Including rent. That can have serious consequences. 3) You don't get far with those 563 or whatever Euros that you get to spend for yourself. Certainly not enough for a healthy life style with a social life. If you don't mind eating junk, wearing rags and never going out, then you're good. 4) Already had a dog or cat when you fell into Bürgergeld? Good luck feeding them. 5) Need a tooth replaced? Forget it. Regular clean-up? Try to come up with the funds to pay for it. Cause insurance will only reimburse you afterwards. Not 100% about everything I just typed up, but it certainly gives a better impression. Which is not to say that parasites don't exist. They'll get what's coming to them. That kind of life is death to the soul And yes, the frustration about those is understandable. But I've seen stats that show that those are a small percentage. Most Bürgergeld-recipients are the kinds of people that I am glad receive that solidarity. And they are struggling.

Basically, it works like this: German idiots work, while the migrants enjoy life. And for a little extra luxury, they drive to the Netherlands, buy weed there, and peddle it here..

That's such nonsense. For example, you can't choose your own apartment. It can't be bigger than a certain size. What adult can get by on €500 a month? If you're not ashamed and don't have any expectations for life, then maybe that's enough—but pretending it's heaven is a lie.

It’s not that easy to get Bürgergeld anymore, trust me. They’re up on your a** the whole time to get you into a job and if not you’re not getting everything. They’re want to know everything about your transactions and income. It’s not what you think.

bürgergeld does not give u 1.5 k a month xD its more like 400 dollars a month

as a single person you only get 506 euros thats just enough to buy food and pay for needs and they force you to get a job dont think it is that way 🤣

It's not so different here in the UK. Which is sad because in my experience many people actually want to work. They just want it to pay more than if they were on "Bürgergeld"
