If you spend your life rejecting God, cursing God, refusing His offer of salvation, and want nothing to do with Him then why would you want Him to force you to spend eternity with Him? He won’t. He doesn’t send you to Hell. He gives you your heart’s desire.

From a purely logical standpoint it is illogical or contradictory, as it assigns 100% causation to God for success while shifting 100% blame to humans for failure.

That is the wrong question. God doesn't send you to hell. Your sin sends you to hell. God offers repentance with what Christ did for us on the cross. You can either accept Him as your Lord and Savior or not. That is the free will that we have as Christians.

Blow my mind how lucky we are for our Creator to be as faithful, righteous and just as He is. Trying to fathom exactly how fortunate we are.. while all He asks in return is for us to accept His sacrfice as payment for our sins, to love Him, and to love our neighbour.. causes my brain to lock up.

100% phenomenal point, and the point that’s most misunderstood. This is also the man point when sharing the gospel, because this is the good news! We get what we don’t deserve, we get to be heirs with Jesus because of what Jesus did on our behalf! No better news than that.

Most people don’t question why God would send sinful people to a place of punishment. The trouble they have is with the punishment being conscious torment for all of eternity. I wrestled with this but my faith was strengthened when I discovered the Bible doesn’t teach that.

The word hell isnt in scripture. “Hell” is not a biblical word. It is an English theological container that collapses multiple, distinct Scripture terms into a single imagined place.

Amen. Christians should be taken back, day by day, with the Grace we have received that we did not deserve.

actually NOT the wrong question. calvinists will tell you that it is so you don't think about their terrible awful doctrine if election. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross made a way for WHOSOEVER to have everlasting life. It's our choice to send ourself to hell. Faith in Jesus.

Sounds like you’ve been brainwashed through indoctrination and it’s affected your ability to think and reason critically.

God "sends" no one to hell. People choose to reject God.

Your sin condemns you and refusal to accept the mercy and grace God extends to everyone through Jesus Christ is what determines whether Heaven or Hell is your destination. It grieves God in His heart to lose one soul. Why doesn’t God just forgive everyone? God to be a perfect and Holy God has to be true to every aspect of His character. He can’t favor His abundant, unfathomable love over His Holiness(Righteousness), and requirement for atonement. If He did, God appears arbitrary and capricious and not a God you can put 100% of your trust in.

Hell is “the grave”…. If you mean the 2nd death in Revelation… then call it the “lake of fire” And use the biblical truth not the RCC catechism fable… each will pay according to their works … there is no forever burning torment.. God calls this His unusual act.

This is horrifying. Shows a complete lack of understanding of human psychology, as well as zero empathy. Christianity is just narcissism in religion form, and it should be eradicated asap(peacefully ofc)
