She released them on personal recognizance with orders to avoid minors and, for Neto, to surrender his passport. The desire these men have to rape children did not magically disappear overnight. We understand human behavior well enough to know these men will likely act again. Why would we ever release them back onto the street and give them the opportunity to hurt children? These men aren't even being monitored, despite knowing they're dangers to society. If one of them harms a child, this judge needs to face severe consequences.
