I actually had this happen to me quite recently when I was in the waiting room for a dentist appointment. One of the people working there asked me "How is school going?" just as a way to pass the time and make conversation. I looked at her very confused and asked her "What?" So she asked me how old I was, I had to explain to her that I'm 30. 🤣
