He is supposed to get knee replacement surgery due to arthritis he was supposed to get it in 2024 but I don’t think he has yet. Both him and Liam have arthritis and that’s why Liam got his hips replaced (at least one) and Noel needs a knee replacement but only on one.

If you watch closely,he's walking a bit wobbly and carefully. That knee replacement surgery is probably why they're taking a pause outside of maybe a few appearances this year.
