Last time I went through customs in the US the dude checking my passport was wearing a full chest rig with 4 mags in it. I was going to make a joke, but he didn't seem like the joking type.

Back before Poland joined the EU I used to fly into Edinburgh ( quite often ) for Amsterdam and as I was often the only non-EU person on the plane they wouldn't even bother to get out of their little break room. They'd just yell 'Oh hi Kristoph just go ahead and stamp your passport.' Simpler times.
