Pair the 23 second run with the 50 second run for some great workouts for all of those 200/400M runners

We have been doing 45 iso holds after but will definitely blend in the 50s

Another one of my favorite workouts is the broken 500M …. 300M at 45 sec…30 sec recovery …. Then all out 200M … walk the track recovery and then do it again

I’m sure it’s the kids too 🤣 but will have to try

Lots of whaling and moaning and gnashing of teeth…Bwahahaaaaa

No doubt 🤣

What app is that for the starting angles?

Thank you Coach!

@pntrack How does the 23 sec drill work?

Standard or progressive wicket spacing here Coach? Like a 10y run in, as well?

We go 10 yd and 6 ft in between when doing it with our warm ups &changing hand placement. Always start and end with normal run throws and go 4-6 times. Run it down a line to watch for crossover. Can do in the masses w/o kids hitting cones. Other times we will use wicket chart

How much do you combine or do for a practice? I see you mentioned wickets, starts & 23 second drill for this days practice. Is this a normal day for your program? If so, what do you come back with the next day?

I combine a lot often and will vary on if it’s short or longer. Try to work starts daily in some shape or form, pending the day, after yesterday we do our recovery/mobility day or we lift like we did today because the have the weekend off
