Alright, first thing first is that; in as much as I do NOT condone or recommend her violence, every action has its consequences. What that consequence may be is dependent on the action itself. According to the video, the man usually beats her up… even up to the point that she falls sick. That is completely unacceptable. I cannot judge her actions because it’s a reaction, as in violence for violence. It’s clear she has been pushed to the wall and her instincts has taken over. This man is clearly a misogynist, narcissist & partly irresponsible. Although he may love her as he claims, it’s not reason enough to behave as though she is your property. She is not your property. You have to treat women with respect. The issue with older Africans is that they have tough love and the mentality difficult to alter. I feel pity for the woman but more so, I feel pity for the child. In all fairness, homes shouldn’t be like this. This kind of narrative would sway people who intend to get married. Communication, real love & mutual respect is my recipe for a good home. May we be guided by wisdom.
