Great that you’re donating 15% of your salary this month. Plenty of hardworking people on a fraction of an MP’s salary donate to hospices and charities every month, they just don’t have a press team there to tell us about it. Charity doesn’t need a press release.

It’s also quite crude to use a charitable donation as a PR stunt intended to give the donator gloss.
