‘wild child’ is a classic (2008)

This is pure nostalgia… 2008 teen movies hit different 😭

Cinema of the 2000s is incomplete without this film.

This comedy was shot in a real boarding school with strict rules. The studio was banned from making loud noises after 6 PM, so Emma Roberts and the cast had to film the entire party scene in near-total silence, adding the music and background noise later in post-production. 🤯

this movie!! i was so in love with emma roberts then. i must’ve watched this movie like a hundred times

Wildchild, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and St. Trinians was the Holy Trifecta of British Teen movie excellence. 🤌

I’ll always remember that hearing this song in this movie, and loving it, was how I first became aware of Adele🙌

Wild Child still got a chokehold on an entire generation 😭

2008 really produced classics nonstop
