I just tested Kimi K2 against Claude 4.5 in cursor to write thought leadership content Kimi failed MISERABLY Same instructions, just changed the model Kimi wrote “okay” content But broke (and changed some of) my writing rules & could not figure out where to save files

Kimi K2 Thinking is absolutely wild !! open-source and can actually compete with closed models like GPT is huge for builders. Definitely worth checking out if you're into AI agents

This video is way over hyped. Kimik2 is good, but it's not a Deepseek moment like so many are trying to make it be. I recommend everyone go and actually try the model and compare against others. The inorganic hype Kimi has had on Reddit and now X smells like paid influencers

One way is to wire it up to Claude Code as the working model and another as the slave for CC orchestrator in which case you need Kimi CLI

not huge into openai agent. manus is fantastic. this is different tho. manus isn't a model, it's a harness. this is a model. so you can build your own tools with it
