Jason is in denial about the impeding doom of his Uber baby. This is how he is choosing to cope. It's sad really.

It’s insane that Tesla just deployed a NEW manufacturing system + Level 5 Autonomy and all other companies are still figuring out how to make profitable non-smart electric cars

0 percent that Tesla buys Uber

Hilarious. Transparent and desperate AF. I’m just surprised he’s so late in posting. I assume he’s dumped his Uber already and this is just performative but maybe he’s still stuck w some shares. Doubt it. Mostly putting up a front since he’s been telling the world how he was an angel w Uber since they launched and it sure got tired.

I liked Uber. Provided people a way to earn. On demand model for ride hail. Made it easier than cabs. But, Robotaxi defeats all those benefits plus all disadvantages. So, I sold a while ago. There is no comparison.

What would they be buying….an app?

I disagree that Tesla does not need Uber. Uber has been tested even in developing markets, Tesla needs that type of data. It's worth the investment. Plus, the enormous distribution that Uber has.

... .... What... Has he experienced building an app from a few reasonable prompts? Clearly hasn't.

Sometimes I wonder how someone like him can hang out with people like them, he may a nice guy and a good communicator, but seems to be several standard deviations behind the people he's surrounded by

Maybe Doordash buys Cybercabs, then Optomi? Maybe. More likely ex Dashers buy small fleets, Mom & Pop style. Walmart might also, etc. It's why Tesla went fleet sales.

Jason trying to manifest a merger bailout so he can own something with a much higher valuation without him getting a massive TAX bill and a great reduced medium term valuation.

Love the last comparison

This is getting crazy now

On your Waymo blog vid, Google’s audience is likely politicians. Stifling regulation is their only hope.

Uber is an absolute Rip off these days - this sector needs a financial shake up

Uber’s (the rest of the pack) next move might be cheap Chinese cars and Chinese software. Probably not in USA with current admin but for sure in Europe

😂

We should listen to @Jason. Musk trusts @Jason, that is why he gave him exclusive visual access to Optimus3. Twice.

Don't be surprised if rest of the world companies merge together to compete with Elon's companies

@Jason can’t be this dumb? I think he is panicking and trying to justify why he is still bag holding $uber

$300 billion is a very odd valuation, given it’s currently worth ~half that and most of its current business is being made redundant. You’d mostly be paying for an app. So what’s that—~$90 billion for an app, $45 billion for Uber Eats, $15 billion for Uber Freight, and another ~$150 billion for what… hopes and dreams?

Does Uber have anything of value besides a solid brand and ride-share software? Telsa clobbers it on the first item and has already produced its own software. Jason is out to lunch, again.

Is Jason going insane?

None

Maybe Waymo can buy the Fisker assets. 🤔 In all seriousness I don't know why Waymo is using a Chinese built EV and hasn't hired their own design team and used Stellantis as a manufacturer.

Competition still would be good for us consumers

You do realise that Jason is literally best friends with Elon

The human component that comes as a potato bags hanging from Uber is just enough to make an argument against a potential purchase.
