Wild traffic camera video captured a pickup driver deliberately ramming another driver as they were attempting a zipper merge last week in Coon Rapids. KARE 11 now reports the driver of the pickup, a 41-year-old Circle Pines man, was ticketed for unsafe lane usage, and having no license or insurance.

@kare11 Seems like a charge of assault with a deadly weapon would be warranted. There are too many unlicensed and uninsured drivers on the road.

@kare11 it appears that there was a clear line formed and this dude tried to cut the line of drivers waiting for their turn, and the pickup took it upon himself to say "NOPE." SMH all around

BURNSVILLE: Authorities are still on scene after a serious-injury crash on northbound I-35W, just south of Hwy. 13, that occurred around 8:15 p.m. MnDOT traffic camera video shows that, as one crash was being cleared near the construction zone, the driver of a semi-truck crashed into another driver who was attempting to merge. The full extent of injuries is not yet available.

What followed was a near Bollywood, daring chase for justice! Another driver intervenes to protect him. The driver was given a final warning by the company. My sources say they wanted to sack him. Only protests from colleagues & threatening to go on strike, stopped it. Another driver on Boxing Day was smashed in the face getting the bus when in uniform. National Express refused to pay him as it was before his shift.
