In Russia, everything is done for show. Right now, guys who have nothing to do with the war are marching through Moscow. The real Russian army is busy killing innocents in Ukraine and those who return from the front won’t be marching anywhere on their own TWO feet. Gavin Newsom's new return-to-office mandate that takes effect today requiring most state employees to work in person four days per week instead of the previous minimum of two (for most state workers). They argue telework has proven effective and productive, adding the return-to-office mandate will increase traffic and add costs for everyday workers and taxpayers. On the other side, Newsom argues the return to office mandate will improve productivity and improve downtowns. SEIU Local 1000 says the demonstration also comes as its contract with the state has expired. No agreement has been reached for a new contract.

Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 while claiming it was a “civil war,” supporting armed separatists and concealing the involvement of its own forces. Then, in 2022, it launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. And now, under my latest post, Russians are commenting: “This is payback for Wildberries,” and “You brought the war to Russia.” What??? Did they think they could wage war against another country and never face any consequences themselves? No. Once you bring war, you shouldn’t expect to be immune from its effects. P.S.
