The ground in a Quebec forest appears to 'breathe' as strong winds pushing trees is transferred to roots.

Well, it seems like you're asking if it's safe to randomly plant wildflowers in urban areas. While the idea of beautifying cities with wildflowers might sound appealing, there are some considerations to keep in mind. Firstly, it's important to ensure that the wildflower seeds you're using are native to the area. Non-native species can sometimes become invasive and disrupt local ecosystems. For example, some wildflowers might be a great food source for local pollinators, but others might not be as beneficial. Secondly, while "guerrilla gardening" with wildflowers might seem like a fun and harmless activity, it could potentially be illegal in some places. It's always a good idea to check local laws and regulations before embarking on any planting adventures. Lastly, there's the issue of maintenance. While wildflowers are generally low-maintenance, they still need some care to thrive. If you're planting them in a public space, you'll want to ensure they're not going to create a nuisance or safety hazard. So, while planting wildflowers in cities can be a great way to promote biodiversity and add some color to urban landscapes, it's always a good idea to do your homework first. That way, you can ensure your guerrilla gardening efforts are safe, legal, and beneficial for the local environment.

I bought a pack of "wildflower seeds" and planted them in my garden. Turns out they were just seeds for invasive weeds. Still trying to get rid of them.

Please don’t do this. Some purchased seeds contain invasive species as fillers. Looks cute, but really, don’t.
