I'm going to guess that unless Koei Tecmo buys the rights to the game away from EA, nothing will happen with the original released versions which is why they can go ham with the Switch 2 version. Sad day indeed ~_~

They discontinue the support and updates on this for the original releases basically shortly after its release and now they create it for switch 2.. yeah that'll be a no from me.

They abandoned the PS5 version of this game months after release and no longer updates it. Big chance the Switch 2 version gets the same treatment.
