"These programs don’t actually exist." "If you’re one of these (fake, apparently) people enjoying these government programs, get it while you can." My hubby and I are registered in the federal government's dental care plan via Sun Life and have already had appointments. We aren't fakes and Poilievre is a liar.

I believe you. These are just his talking points when it comes to answering this question. He’ll insist nobody uses these programs right up until the point he cancels them if he has to.

Canadians shouldn’t be at the point where they have to be dependent on government to have relatively normal lives. That dependency fosters a toxic relationship.

I just got off the phone from a Conservative voter. They watched @PierrePoilievre response and was enraged. They have used the dental benefits and his snarky response solidified them to #NeverVoteConservative !

If she was a real journo she’d have #’s & sources to back them up. Like from Dental orgs showing # of clients from said program. Lazy journalism-another talking head looking to score points. I sure hope they cut programs.Bring down the cost of living so we can pay for ourselves.

The amount of abuse in these programs is astonishing to say the least. If there was not so much abuse, people in genuine crisis situations could get taken care of during times like this. Treating government assistance like a long-term lifestyle when you are capable of work is unacceptable.

You don't get to say you "trust the science" while firing the scientists. While the Liberal government pours $742 million on a gun grab with no public safety benefit, they're shutting down agricultural research stations, like the one in Lacombe, that help feed Canadians. If you fire everybody who’s doing hurricane watch, you’re not going to have hurricane watch… The same is true in terms of education. So, if Title I is supposed to go to a high school in Staten Island, and they’re supposed to get $5 million that goes there, and all of a sudden it doesn’t, and they don’t have the money, then that means the programs go away.
