Will AI Take Your Job?

@xDaily_Know In the next 10 or 20 years, coders will be busy training AIs to do the work of electricians and plumbers. Haven’t you seen Tesla's Primes? If there’s a job that will be one of the last, or maybe the very last to disappear, it will be that of coders and people working in tech.

Anything is possible at this point

@xDaily_Know Coding is not for everyone, you should do what you like, there will be work for everyone, for the ones who want to work!, one of the challenges that this country will be facing in the future is able bodied Americans that don’t want to work!!

We all need to evolve. AI is coming for most jobs (not just coding) as they exist today. The world is shifting fast, and repeating the past is not an option. Adaptation and evolution are. Coders may be the first to feel it, but smart robotics is already here. Manual labor isn’t immune, it’s just next.

When Mr Ford came along with the Model T did the Horse and Cart guy have any clue or idea what it would be used for? The commerce it would create, the jobs it created? No and same applies here, more jobs will get created its just our personal view of the world for most of us can't extend that far However for one example, AI by end of year will start creating new materials, that us humans would likely never have discoved. Likely opens up new ways of being productive. Anyway if history has taught us anything, more jobs get created at these pivotal moments than not, thats a precedent thats not changed yet...

@xDaily_Know You can't use AI for coding if you have no idea what you are doing. As for electricians, their days are truly numbered:

I really appreciate Roe. His take on jobs and/vs AI is a fair take. AI will compliment all the industries he claimed they won't take jobs from ....coders are also still necessary ...all are still necessary, but will take on new forms and new potential relationships between them too

As a coder who, by the way considers the current era of golden age for building things, this guy is a complete asshole. He hasn’t worked a day in his life as a software engineer, so he is pushing for the creation of a generation of blue collar employees that can’t fight against shills like him. FoH!

@xDaily_Know This really easy. If how he is explaining it that important. Then PAY 💰 like it’s that important. But those jobs don’t. They demand long hours and much time away from Family. And people just flat out tired of living that way.

@xDaily_Know yes, let's glorify the manual labor and still pay them shit wages not commensurate with the dangerous conditions. There is nothing bad about being a welder or being in trades but no one talks about the long term exposure to chemicals, dust etc. and you will be dead by 60.
