A busy day for our team that went up to the border to rescue the abandoned cats. 26 souls were rescued (including a momma cat and her kittens). Most of the cats were quite bewildered by their abandonment and seemed relieved to be rescued. They will be taken into quarantine and made comfortable. Tomorrow the vets team will be busy checking each one carefully. Thank you to those who donated last night to support these cats. There is still time to donate if anyone can help us to help them. This Pastor gives one of the best explanations on why our borders shouldn’t be open and why people need to pledge allegiance to our country. “You know why the borders should not be open?….The reason the borders need to be closed is because when you come into a sovereign nation and you don’t pledge your allegiance, it’s treasonous. This video is from the border area between Turkey and Syria. People are trying to cross the border from Turkey to Syria, or vice versa, and they have tried to take their cats with them. Unfortunately they have not got the required documents for their animals to cross the border. The border officials could not let them pass. The cats could not enter, so they have been abandoned. People contacted us for help. Some of these cats have been there for a few weeks. We will go and save who we can and bring them back to Ernestos where they will be health checked, treated and neutered and spayed. Please, we need to ask you for a little help. It’s impossible not to feel Tyson’s pain. Arriving as a stray just Nov 16, three days later he’s already depressed and giving up. Located in deadly Devore CA, his stray hold expires Nov 21 and from there his life will be immediately at risk. We need to help him. At age 6 he has some hip dysplasia and needs to be adopted or fostered via a Rescue. A wonderful dog, please pledge repost, let’s give Tyson the head-start he needs to escape alive. #A788920

Ideally, we are asking for two men to be positioned there at all times. We do not want anyone on their own. This role is for people who do not wish to be on camera, but who still want to support us and help keep things organised and safe. This is purely about awareness, visibility, and ensuring we have eyes on all exits so nothing is missed.
