Huh? Guy is 72-58. Come on MLB Network, you can do better.

Tim Lincecum won 2 CYA’s, threw 2 no hitters, won 3 WS. He didn’t clear the first ballot. Not a chance in hell Snell gets in.

No current pitcher is hall of fame worthy - they dont complete games and they dont bat - it cheapesn the honor for the REAL PITCHERS who are already in the HOF #MLB @MLB @MLBNetwork

a decent argument against snell as a HOFer or even as a “of his era” level all-time great is that he NEVER has to see teams for a third and fourth time through the line up. sure, this isn’t really his fault (or is it?), but when the going REALLY gets tough, snell is on the bench, for whatever reason. so his massive Ks per 9 is for sure at least a little misleading and potentially VERY misleading.

LOL. 2 cy youngs, 5 mediocre seasons. This is hysterical. Guy rarely pitches in to the 6th inning.

Not even close. Only 1049.1 IP and is 31. Outside of 2 amazing years he is an injury prone 4 ERA pitcher.

Johan Santana was a better, more consistent pitcher in his prime, and he didn't get in. Santana dominated during his run in the mid to late 2000's. Snell will need at least 5 more great seasons of 5 WAR. So far Snell has only had TWO great seasons. He has a long way to go

He's pitched for 9 seasons. 2 of them were great, and the rest are all somewhere between bad and mediocre. He somehow has fewer career innings pitched than Trevor Hoffman, who was a closer. He's this generation's Tim Lincecum, except his good seasons happen randomly.
