Private buses are flying coffins. You should be lucky if you reach a destination safely. They travel too fast and have no control of their vehicle and end up in tragic bus accidents around the country. In Colombo see how they compete with each other by racing on Colombo roads.

Lets see how many days you can go on strikes. All departments and companies please allow remote working. Use expirience of pandamic time. Do for 1 week. Lets see how long they can strike. Decipline is key to any development. @anuradisanayake

All public transport vehicles must meet safety standards. Blocking front/rear windshields, reducing driver visibility, must be banned. Standards should also regulate seating and external appearance to ensure safety, comfort, and a professional look. Public safety first!

This fellow is talking bullshit. The traffic rules are meant for everyone and is there for the safety of everyone. If I remember correctly, this happened once before when the traffic fines were increased.

Like in most other countries, transportation should either be regulated under government control or managed responsibly by bus companies as a public service.

Now that you - @Dailymirror_SL have made these guys feel like they’ve given a powerful statement in the media fuelling their ignorance and arrogance even more, interview the public with their response to these lawbreakers if you want a shot at fair reporting.

Daily mirror must have to go a long long way to poison the mind of the intelligent voter. They tried it before the elections and the people gave them a fitting lesson.
