I mean it's an amazing display but please, try to convince me this isn't Cirque du Soleil? It's like watching one of those shaolin monks shoes, which is cool and all but it's not a fight, it's an exhibition.

This was the sequence that made me finally “get” Rey Fenix.

i’m still tryna figure out what is “so cool” about this flippy floppy, stupid, non wrestling sequence that aew fans brick up about. it literally does nothing for either guy 😂😭

I'm one of those "grumpy old men" about overly performative wrestling but I am fine with this. Seems like two flashy guys trying to show one another up and finding creative counters to do so. I think if you are into this style of wrestling this is a very good example of it.
