@willsimpson06 Stephen, the part where it was deemed excessive and unsportsmanlike was the slash across the chest between second and third. Umpires consider this an act of taunting, which is unsportsmanlike conduct by rule. New rule this year now requires ump to eject ANY player for such acts.

@willsimpson06 “Excessive celebration” I feel like this rule was made up by a team mom who’s in favor of participation trophies. Lol he did a great job and shouldn’t have been ejected. How dumb.
