This is so true on many levels. We spend our whole lives fighting to reach the top and when you get there you realise that there’s nothing there. You’re just the same as everybody else, you’ve spend your whole life chasing a fantasy that does not exist. Then you realise that it was never about money or fame. It’s about family, friend and everyone else in between, looking after the planet that we live on and the people that live in it.

Some people need god for that void. What they say in AA is true about a higher power. For some it’s family. Me, for instance, I couldn’t care less about buying stuff. I want my children happy and healthy and safe. That’s the only reason I’ll chase money. Everyone needs purpose
