Please stop making Bishop Strickland seem like a victim. Every Bishop must bear wrongs as Christ did on the cross. Bishop Strickland is an example of what someone in his position should not have done if they were truly wronged. His inability to humbly and quietly continue doing his work is a testament to an ego he juxtaposes with his false comparison to St. Thomas More. May God have mercy on him.

Pope Leo was instrumental in having him removed. Unlikely that he would then reverse that decision. , What about Vigano? He was excommunicated. I would think that would be a higher priority.

I’m torn on this. Two things are true. Strickland was a pretty terrible bishop before his “awakening” in 2016. After, he was was orthodox and liturgically reverent. But he suffered under all of his previous mistakes and never figured out how to completely kick his bad habits…
