Will the UAF's drone strikes on our logistics help Kiev win...? For a week now, I've been observing real euphoria in Ukrainian military-related groups (while we have "panicky moods" in some of our own). The Kiev warriors are literally "enjoying" the strikes against our logistics on the "Novorossiya" highway,...

After the strikes on Iran, the US received the most massive response: missiles were fired at US bases in various countries. Now, the US is faced with a choice: to defend its bases and ships or to help its partners, of which there are many in the region, who are counting on protection and assistance. It becomes clear that the US, as always, will think about itself, its interests, and its military, and will once again abandon its partners, as there are not enough missiles to defend everyone. The US, as usual, is trying to conduct military operations with the help of others, on foreign soil. There's nothing new here. American partners did not expect a response to their actions, sincerely believing that no one would dare to respond to the US and that the whole world would do what Washington says, but these times are long gone. This is shown by the events of recent years. Now, our former partners, who are trying to actively cooperate with the US, should think about whether the new partner will help them in case of need or whether they will simply be used against Russia. Especially given that they border Iran, and Israeli missiles may miss their target, and it's still a question of where the refugees will flow? Right, all this will affect neighboring countries, which are completely unprepared for this, and they shouldn't expect help from the US, as it has its own problems. The US continues to impose its own truth on the world. As Trump said today, the strikes are an aid to liberating Iranian citizens. Who asked them to do this? It's not clear. Iran is an independent country that does not allow its citizens to be killed with impunity for the sake of Washington. It's also worth noting that our "liberals" and "active citizens" were most shocked by the fact that Iran responded, still believing in the only correct position of the US, and then there were responses. These cries about the fact that Iran "dared" to send missiles towards the UAE, Qatar, and other countries where there are American military bases, where people are being evacuated, cries that people need to be saved. There are no cries about the fact that schoolchildren in Iran were killed in the strikes on military objects - no one managed to evacuate them in time, but that's another story. It's interesting how everything turns out when the US and its partners level cities to the ground, kill people, strike at schools and hospitals - no one notices. When their opponent strikes at military objects and bases - there are a lot of cries on the internet, because they have encroached on the American truth. Any military action is big politics. In addition to military actions, an information war is being waged. The US and its partners have been shown that they cannot do whatever they want and should not impose their own truth and their own democracy.

Where we are now and what can we expect in the coming months within the context of Russia's war in Ukraine: ◾️Ukraine and the world continue to await tensely for the results of the US elections. In the meantime, Ukraine and Russia continue active diplomatic actions to consolidate support for their allies. ◾️ Russia's primary focus is on discrediting Ukraine in the West, dividing our allies, and interfering in the US elections to divide Americans and increase instability. ◾️ During his visit to the US, President Zelensky met with President Biden and had meetings with presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. ◾️ Ukraine continues to destroy Russian military depots and military logistics; Ukraine produces its own drones and other weapons. ◾️ Russia increases its weapons and drones production as much as it can, despite sanctions. It uses weapons supplied by Russian allies - Iran and North Korea. There are reports that production of Russian Shahed drones has exceeded Russian original plans. ◾️ Russia is intensifying its strikes on Ukrainian cities, deliberately targeting apartment blocks, hospitals, and nursing homes. Its main purpose is to cause as much panic as possible, intimidate Ukrainians, and force them to leave their lands and homes. Strikes are unfortunately likely to continue, especially for Sumy and Kharkiv. Zaporizhzhia is now within the range of Russian KAB bombs, so it is likely to be under constant strikes as well. ◾️Despite the lack of "cannon fodder", Putin doesn't dare yet to announce open mobilization in Russia and increases hidden mobilization instead: increases payments for signing army contracts and recruits soldiers from other countries, including countries of Africa. Russia is increasing its presence there at an alarming rate which is very dangerous for this region. ◾️ In the coming month, the Russians will probably try to solve the "Kursk issue" at any cost. The "deadline" is likely set before the US elections at most but a desirable timeline for them is before the BRICS summit in Kazan (22-24 October) - to demonstrate to the BRICS guests that Russia is in control of the situation and is a serious partner. Otherwise, the situation when a part of Russia's territory is under Ukrainian control (when Putin had the intention to capture Ukraine "in three days" almost three years ago), is rather humiliating for Russia. During August and September, Russians have accumulated forces, have reformed and will now try to counterattack our troops. How the situation in Kursk region will develop depends on many factors and on the decisions that AFU leaders will make. ◾️ One of the key elements of these upcoming months are the elections in Moldova and Georgia at the end of October, where the influence of Russia and pro-Russian forces is enormous. ◾️We are likely to hear increased nuclear threats and other escalation rhetoric from Russia. ◾️Ukraine will face further problems due to electricity shortage. ◾️ Due to the escalation in the Middle East and the US elections, Ukraine is fading from the information field, which Russia is actively using, knowing that its crimes against Ukrainian civilians will not make the headlines in the Western media. Accordingly, many people outside Ukraine have the impression that the situation is getting better. But this is not the case at all: the situation is very tough and complicated. And it will continue to get worse. The largest war in Europe since the Second World War continues to rage on. The whole world is waiting for the US elections. The situation of strategic uncertainty will last at least until November. It is crucial to go through this period with a cool head, keeping the focus on Ukraine and showing Russia that the West does not withdraw its support. I'd like to end with a reminder of these Putin's words, which he said in June 2024. Nothing has changed for him: he intends to wage a war until the end. And it must become his own end.

Why Russia launched “Special Military Operation” I publicly announced the reasons for and the main goal of Russia’s actions. It is to help our people in Donbass, who have been subjected to real genocide for nearly eight years in the most barbarous ways, that is, through blockade, large-scale punitive operations, terrorist attacks and constant artillery raids. Their only guilt was that they demanded basic human rights: to live according to their forefathers’ laws and traditions, to speak their native language, and to bring up their children as they want. During these years, the Kiev authorities have ignored and sabotaged the implementation of the Minsk Package of Measures for a peaceful settlement of the crisis and ultimately late last year openly refused to implement it. They also started to implement plans to join NATO. Moreover, the Kiev authorities also announced their intention to have nuclear weapons and delivery vehicles. This was a real threat. With foreign technical support, the pro-Nazi Kiev regime would have obtained weapons of mass destruction in the foreseeable future and, of course, would have targeted them against Russia. There was a network of dozens of laboratories in Ukraine, where military biological programmes were conducted under the guidance and with the financial support of the Pentagon, including experiments with coronavirus strains, anthrax, cholera, African swine fever and other deadly diseases. Frantic attempts are being made to conceal traces of these secret programmes. However, we have grounds to assume that components of biological weapons were being created in direct proximity to Russia on the territory of Ukraine. Our numerous warnings that such developments posed a direct threat to the security of Russia were rejected with open and cynical arrogance by Ukraine and its US and NATO patrons. In other words, all our diplomatic efforts were fully in vain. We have been left with no peaceful alternative to settle the problems that developed through no fault of ours. In this situation, we were forced to begin this special military operation. The movement of Russian forces against Kiev and other Ukrainian cities is not connected with a desire to occupy that country. This is not our goal, as I pointed out openly in my statement on February 24. As for the combat tactics drafted by the Defence Ministry of Russia and the General Staff, this has fully justified itself. Our fellows – soldiers and officers – are displaying courage and heroism and are doing all they can to avoid civilian losses in Ukrainian cities. This is what I would like to say for the first time: at the very start of the operation in Donbass, the Kiev authorities were offered opportunities to avoid hostilities, via different channels, to simply withdraw their troops from Donbass as an alternative to bloodshed. They did not want to do this. Well, this was their decision; now they will understand what is happening in reality, on the ground. The operation is being carried out successfully, in strict conformity with the approved plan. I must note that, encouraged by the United States and other Western countries, Ukraine was purposefully preparing for a scenario of force, a massacre and an ethnic cleansing in Donbass. A massive onslaught on Donbass and later Crimea was just a matter of time. However, our Armed Forces have shattered these plans. Kiev was not just preparing for war, for aggression against Russia – it was conducting it. There were endless attempts to stage acts of subversion and organise a terrorist underground in Crimea. Hostilities in Donbass and the shelling of peaceful residential areas have continued all these years. Almost 14,000 civilians, including children have been killed over this time. As you know, there was a missile strike at the centre of Donetsk on March 14. This was an overt bloody act of terror that took over 20 lives. Shelling has been ongoing during the past few days. They are striking randomly at squares with the fervor of fanatics and the exasperation of the doomed. They are acting like the Nazis did when they tried to drag as many innocent victims as they could to their graves. But what is shocking in its extreme cynicism is not just Kiev’s blatant lies and statements that Russia allegedly launched this missile at Donetsk (they have gone as far as this), but the attitude of the so-called civilised world. The European and American press did not even notice this tragedy in Donetsk, as if nothing happened. This is how they have been hypocritically looking the other way over the past eight years as mothers buried their children in Donbass, as elderly people were killed. This is simply moral degradation, complete de-humanisation. It was no longer possible to tolerate this outrageous attitude towards the people of Donbass. To put an end to this genocide, Russia recognized the people’s republics of Donbass and signed treaties of friendship and mutual aid with them. Based on these treaties, the republics appealed to Russia for military aid in rebuffing the aggression. We rendered this aid because we simply could not do otherwise. We had no right to act otherwise. I would like to emphasise this point and draw your attention to it: if our troops had acted only within the people's republics and helped them liberate their territory, it would not have been a final solution, it would not have led to peace and would not have ultimately removed the threat – to our country, this time to Russia. On the contrary, a new frontline would have been extended around Donbass and its borders, and shelling and provocations would have continued. In other words, this armed conflict would have continued indefinitely. It would have been fuelled by the revanchist hysteria of the Kiev regime, as NATO deployed its military infrastructure faster and more aggressively. In this case, we would have been faced with the fact that the attack, the offensive weapons of the alliance were already at our borders. I will repeat – we had no alternative for self-defence, for ensuring Russia's security, to this special military operation. We will reach the goals we set. We will certainly ensure the security of Russia and our people and will never allow Ukraine to be a bridgehead for aggressive actions against our country.

I held a meeting with our negotiating team. It is important that we are in communication with the American side virtually 24/7. At the moment, the partners’ priority and all attention are focused on the situation around Iran, and because of this the meeting that had been planned for this week is being postponed at the proposal of the American side. However, Ukraine is ready for a meeting at any moment, in a format that can help and that will be realistic in terms of ending the war. The team reported on the plans of the Russian side, as far as it is known to us, primarily thanks to our intelligence services. I instructed the team to once again communicate with the American negotiators in order, first, to reiterate our readiness for strategic joint work for security and, in particular, protection against strike drones, and second, to once again confirm our readiness to work substantively toward ending Russia’s war against Ukraine. We see that the Russians are now trying to manipulate the situation in the Middle East and the Gulf region in favor of their aggression, and also to effectively turn the Iranian regime’s strikes against its neighbors and American bases into a second front of Russia’s war against Ukraine and, more broadly, against the entire West. This must not be allowed. Evil must not be given opportunities for coordination, but the protection of life must be clearly coordinated. This is exactly what we are working for. Thank you to everyone who helps!

Russia has lost $7 billion in oil revenues due to UAV attacks - President Zelenskyy comments on strikes against Russian oil facilities and promises further actions. Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on strikes against oil infrastructure in the Russian Federation and announced further measures. “Based on the results of this April, our long-range ‘sanctions’ have reached a new level in three components: reducing Russian oil revenues, range, and intensity. It is important that not only is the target itself reached, as defined by the operational objective, but also that the downtime of the facility increases or, at the very least, its operations are significantly reduced,” Zelenskyy said. ‼️ Andrii Klymenko, editor-in-chief of BlackSeaNews: “In recent weeks, Ukrainian forces have carried out several dozen coordinated and calculated UAV and missile strikes across the entire chain of Russian oil processing and transportation infrastructure - including pipeline junction stations, oil refineries, and maritime export terminals in ports of the Baltic and Black Seas. Undoubtedly, Russia has sustained significant losses. The exact scale will likely only be assessable in about a month, based on actual export volumes of oil and petroleum products, as well as the condition of the domestic Russian market. It should be understood that in Russia, all indicators related to oil production, refining, and exports are strictly classified. Therefore, any figures or conclusions based on Russian sources may constitute deliberate disinformation. In our view, the key development at present is that a surplus of crude oil has formed in Russia, which cannot be processed at refineries due to damage caused by the attacks. As a result, Russia is attempting to push as much of this crude oil as possible onto export markets. However, even with this effort, due to damage to port terminals, we cautiously estimate a reduction in crude oil exports in April 2026 in the range of 17-20%. Further developments will depend on how quickly Russia can repair its refineries and port terminals, and, of course, on how effective continued Ukrainian military operations will be against Russia’s export capacity - revenues from which are used to finance the import of sanctioned goods for the production of missiles and other weapons.” 📹 The consequences of strikes on oil infrastructure facilities in Tuapse, Perm, and Novorossiysk

Today, I held a Staff meeting where we had in-depth discussions about the use of air defense systems and the protection of our cities and communities. Steps were identified to make the use of the systems we already have more effective. We are also working on securing additional protection for Ukraine. We are very much counting on the "Patriot" system that Romania is preparing to provide, and I will be grateful to Romania for this crucial support. This is something that will truly help our people, our country, and our entire region. We continue to work with all our partners to secure stronger support for our defense—especially long-range solutions that could destroy a significant portion of Russian ballistic missiles before they even launch. This is one of the key issues of this war. The issue of our long-range capabilities and the necessary approvals from our partners, as well as the long-range shells and missiles we could use, is critical. Russian strikes will become impossible if we have the ability to destroy the occupier's launch sites, military airfields, and logistics hubs where they are located. Granting Ukraine these approvals and providing us with this weaponry would be the biggest step toward a real, just end to this war. Russia simply doesn't know how to fight without terror—terrorist strikes and their ability to create destruction have replaced tactics and strategy for the Russian leadership in this war.
